[Sorry, year overdue trip report submitted from distant memory...]
Torrential rain on Saturday resulted in a high ratio of tea/coffee-shop (and Kingshouse) hours to hill-hours, although Tim and Callum managed to get soaking wet bagging Beinn nan Aighenan.
Sunday brought perfect weather and called for a mass assault on Stob Coire Streamhach and Bidean nam Bian by the little trodden horsehoe route from Glen Etive, returning over Beinn Maol Chaluim (a Corbett). The precipitous descent to the head of Gleann Fhaolain proved surprisingly tricky to find, although we were rewarded for our efforts by the sight of some weasels at the bottom. The potentially hideous final descent to Glen Etive through the trackless forestry plantations was made slightly less jacket-shredding by use of a watercourse.
